Joanne Short plants many exciting bulbs, sub-tropical plants & flowers in her Cornish seaside garden in to fill her outdoor studio with vibrant colours & forms. This delightful painting was painted in her garden and features echiums, banana plants, Cornish palm trees, olive trees, foxgloves and lilies. The garden and the painting are part of the same working process and the result is beautiful.
