This is the first time Joanne has painted this view, having done many a dog walk along the riverside path. This beautiful oil painting fully captures the beauty of this area, incorporating the wild flowers that grow in the hedgerows along the river and the striped field across the bay. Yachts are moored in and around the harbour and the pattern of the water sweeps in on an incoming tide. In this painting Joanne successfully creates that feeling of joy with the imminent arrival of summer.
