Cornwall Art Gallery painting by John Dyer. 'Happy Holidays, Perranporth'. 33 x 40 inches, acrylic on board
Sunbathers, windbreaks and saucy seaside fun on the beach are all captured in this spectacular new painting by Cornish artist John Dyer. The painting depicts all the colour and fun of high summer on Perranporth beach in Cornwall. The painting has it all, golden hot sand, crashing waves, surfers, fishing boats, seagulls, dogs, seals and even a puffin flying through the blue sky. Wild flowers and grasses grow in the dunes and a family gets ready for a swim in the sea. The Watering Hole cafe can be seen on the left of the painting and the town of Perranporth on the headland beyond. Stunning.
