When the Tall Ships come to Falmouth artist John Dyer is appointed the official artist in residence for the Tall Ships Regatta. This print was inspired by a map the artist saw in the National Maritime Museum Cornwall. John cleverly captures the Fal River estuary with Falmouth, St Mawes, Mylor and other places visible. Tall ships gather in the bay and lovers stand amongst the tropical plants. The print has a huge sense of space.
This print is from an edition of only fifty signed prints which are all museum-quality and produced with archival inks on watercolour paper.
